The links are marginally flattened and slightly twisted so that the chain lies flat when worn. The chain is made from solid, marine-grade 316 stainless steel which is impervious to rust, corrosion, and tarnishing. Figaro is a renowned style of the chain that is often adorned with medallions, pendants, or Charm.
