In this hands-on class you'll learn traditional pearl knotting — tying a small, neat knot between every pearl — and create an elegant knotted pearl bracelet finished with a silver clasp and extender chain. Learn, create, and take home a piece you'll wear for years.
Knotting between pearls is how fine pearl jewelry has been strung for generations. The knots keep the pearls from rubbing against each other, give the strand a beautiful drape, and mean that if the cord ever breaks, you won't lose your pearls. Once you learn it, you can use it on pearl necklaces, bracelets, and gemstone strands of your own.
This small-group class is limited to just 4 students per session and is perfect for all levels. Everyone gets plenty of hands-on, step-by-step instruction and individual help. No previous jewelry-making experience is necessary.

When you finish, we'll go on a bonus, quick tour of the bead store and show you around. We'll talk about the different types of pearls, beads, cord, findings, tools, and other supplies so you'll know what you're looking at and what you actually need to keep creating at home.
