Learn how to wire wrap a gemstone ring and leave with a one-of-a-kind ring you made yourself!
This small-group class is limited to just 4 students per session, so everyone gets plenty of hands-on instruction and individual help. No previous jewelry-making experience is necessary.
You'll pick your stone, then learn the wire wrapping techniques to shape the band and secure the stone into a unique statement ring. These same techniques can become the foundation for making all kinds of wire wrapped jewelry and creating your own designs.

Plus a Tour of the Bead Store
After we finish our rings, we'll take a quick tour of the bead store. We'll talk about the different types of beads, wire, findings, tools, and other supplies so you'll know what you're looking at and what you actually need to keep creating at home.
What You'll Leave With
By the end of the class, you'll have a finished wire wrapped gemstone ring, a solid foundation in wire wrapping, and a better understanding of the tools and materials you'll need to continue creating jewelry on your own.

Please note: Wire wrapping involves working with small materials and requires good eyesight and hand-eye coordination. If you use reading glasses or a magnifier for detailed work, please bring them with you. *Classes are not eligible for discount codes*
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Class fees are non-refundable. If you can't make it, you may reschedule one time to another available class date — just contact us at info@continentalbeads.com at least 48 hours before your class. Requests made less than 48 hours before class and no-shows are not eligible for rescheduling.

About the Instructor
Kathleen Cavalaro has been making jewelry for over 20 years. A former bead store owner in Brooklyn, New York, she taught weekly jewelry-making classes, and her work has been worn by celebrities including Madonna, Kate Walsh, and Rashida Jones. Today, Kathleen creates handmade jewelry using the same wire wrapping techniques taught in this class, with her work sold in more than 400 stores across the U.S. and eight countries.
